Fade to Grey Frames

 


  • Take one picture, copy and paste as new layer (Ctrl-C, Ctrl-L)
  • Select the top frame
  • Select Colours, Adjust, Hue/Saturation/Lightness (Shift-H)
  • Set Hue and Lightness to zero, but drop the Saturation down to -100 to give you a completely grey image
  • With the select tool, draw an ellipse justlarge enough to focus on the coloured area.
  • Then feather the selection (Ctrl-H). You will need a lot of feather, larger images will need more feathering. This sample feathered to 40 pixels.
  • Delete the selected area (Ctrl-X)
