Using Blade Pro Textures as PaintShop Papers | ||
|
Yes, you know the feeling, you've created a cracking Blade Pro,
but you need to hand paint using the same texture, and your stuck.
Or maybe you just want extra paper textures for PSP. You can easily add Blade Pro textures to the PSP collection of papers. For Version 6 users, just copy the files from your Blade Pro Environments and Textures folder to your Program Files/Paint Shop Pro 6/Textures folder. For Version 5 users, try this nifty little program that adds all the standard Blade Pro textures to PSP for you automatically. HOW TO USE IT: Right click here and save the batch file "addtxtr.bat" in your Blade Pro Environments and Textures folder. Run addtxtr.bat Er, that's it. All existing textures are preserved, including any you have added yourself. WARNING: Do not run it more than once, otherwise you end up with duplicate names in the textures list. If you really need to, there is a backup called PaperNam.bak which you rename to PaperNam.idx if you need to restore the original list of papers. ERROR MESSAGES: Only two errors are noted: 1) Can't find Paint Shop Pro. The batch file looks for PSP in its standard C:\program files\paint shop pro 5 location. Edit the batch file if you need to. 2) Can't find Blade Pro You need to run the command in the Environments folder
