A God-send of a book

I'm new to graphics and have been tempted by the reputation of Adobe Photoshop. Sadly I crashed and burned with this software. A friend recommended I set my sights a little lower and give Paint Shop Pro 6 a try. This I duly did and have never considered turning back. Now I've got hold of this companion read I truly am beginning to appreciate the tremendous power this relatively cheap software has to offer. The 24 hour lessons are easy to read yet very comprehensive. I'll be looking for books by the same author in the near future.
